Creating Value, X Factor: TravelManagers

Friday, 11 November 2011

TravelManagers from around Australia have gathered in Melbourne today to kick off the first day of the fourth annual TravelManagers national conference.

Running over two days, the company’s home-based consultants will take part in up to 11 different workshops and receive motivation from three external keynote speakers while radiating in the theme ‘Creating Value’.

The travel consultant company’s executive general manager Mandy Scotney said this year’s workshops were based on feedback received from agents earlier this year and would showcase ways of finding and wining new business, motivation and goal setting as well as finding a consultant’s X-Factor.

“These sessions are very interactive and allow a fantastic opportunity for our personal travel managers to not only learn from an expert but share experiences and ideas with each other, they’re very popular for this reason.” Ms Scotney explained.

In addition to workshops, agents will also attend presentations covering brand commitment, pricing analysis, individual TravelManager success stories and technology developments.

“Every year we put a great deal of time and energy into our annual conference, including significant input from our personal travel managers,” Ms Scotney added.

“In addition to being inspiring, motivating and educational, our own awards at the conclusion of the conference, allow us an opportunity to recognise excellence, reward these people and celebrate what can only be described as a hugely successful year also.”

The 2011 National Conference is taking place at the Crown Promenade Hotel in Melbourne.
