Korean Air Launches Mobile Internet Portal

Monday, 21 November 2011

Korean Air has launched a new Mobile Internet Portal with a wide range of functions available via mobile devices. The new mobile service will include flight schedules and Skypass information as well as updates on miles, and will also be invaluable to any customer already booked on a Korean Air flight, whether booked directly on the web, on with any corporate or trade partner.

The new service will also cover mobile check-in with seat selection, flight status and tracking and transit information. Mobile Check-In Service is available from 24 hours to 4 hours before the scheduled departure time, with boarding passes being independently printed off or collected at the airport.

The new service will work on any modern Internet through the smartphones. Users will also have the option to go to Korean Air’s normal full site if they prefer this on their large screen tablet mobile devices, such as iPads.

m.koreanair.com compliments Korean Air’s mobile cargo website mcargo.koreanair.com launched earlier this month which allows customers to track their shipments, as well as receiving updates on custom clearance, cargo category and current operation status at the cargo terminal. Customers can also check flight schedules, arrival and departure status, and basic information about local branches.
