Friday, 25 November 2011

Over the past month, the airline and airport had seven Quality Hunters searching for ground-breaking solutions but have no turned the microphone to the traveller hoping to gain new insight.

With both companies committed to implementing the most feasible and outstanding suggestions, Finnair marketing innovations director Antti Nieminen said the plan was to make air travel a pleasurable experience.

“We had four Quality Hunters come by Singapore and they were thoroughly impressed by the city, its service and offerings and of course with Changi Airport,” Finnair Singapore director of sales Petteri Kostermaa added.

“We hope that through their  travels  to  Finnair’s  destinations  around  the world, our Quality  Hunters  will  be  able  to relate back their experience to helping enhance the customer experience of Finnair and the Helsinki  Airport.”

Suggestions submitted for improvements include meat-free Mondays, in-flight Karaoke, virtual chess games and airport speed dating.

Development ideas can be submitted to www.qualityhunters2.com with submissions closing on 29 November this year.

After which the airline and airport will narrow down the list to the most potential and the winning idea will be chosen by public vote.
