Why: Claude MANISCALCO, Director of ST TROPEZ tourist office, remitted on behalf of the Mayor of ST TROPEZ, one exclusive medal Les SCHIRATO, to be the first Ambassador to ST TROPEZ elected in Australia.
ST TROPEZ is a village which goes from 5,000 inhabitants in winter to 5 millions in summer, where every major celebrities flock there such as Elton John, Brigitte Bardot, Kylie Minogue, Hugh Jackman… and were part of last night ST TROPEZ party, thanks to a photo exhibition Star spotting in ST TROPEZ hosted at the Sofitel in Sydney and Melbourne until 31st January.
200 socialites enjoyed French Minuty Rosé and Pommery Champagne watching a“Sin Tropez” swimwear parade from the French Designer KIWI, and showing their unique spirit: the St Trop'Beachwear.
The crowd was then entertained by the famous Vitamine Jazz Band who flew from France especially for the occasion.
There are more Australians visiting ST TROPEZ than Swedish and Spanish tourists, staying an average of 14 days, it is an unique French provincial village!
