Melbourne’s travel industry gathered at Citro Restaurant, Seasons Botanic Gardens last night, some with Santa hats adorned, for our final Thirsty Thursdays event for 2011.
Charlie Lovick, Horse Master from “The Man From Snowy River” movies, regaled guests with behind-the-scenes tales from the set and shared his love of the Victorian high country before giving away a weekend ride for two with his family at Lovick’s High Country Adventures.
Global Cars will be providing the transport to the high country for James Jang from Port Travel who won the major prize and promised guests to report back on his time with the Lovick’s.
Yasmin from Yasmin’s Travel Security celebrated her birthday on the night with the crowd bringing the house down in song for her before digging into the canapés provided by Albatross Tours and e-Travel Blackboard.
The event would not have been possible without special mention to Anthea, Lance and the team at Seasons Botanic Gardens Melbourne who shut down their main restaurant, Citro, for the event.
