Focus is on Inspiring Australia, NZ Journeys

Friday, 2 December 2011

Launching less than a year ago, Inspiring Journeys managing director Tammy Marshall told e-Travel Blackboard the company will spend the coming years developing its brand and focusing on building its Australia and New Zealand offerings.

The tour operator’s head explained that the two markets are key to their development and they were also looking to attracting “more international travellers”.

“We are looking to roll out into the international market over the course of the next year,” she explained.

“But for now we are focusing on developing New Zealand and Australia.”

Revealing new itineraries yesterday, the company included New Zealand for the first time and added a new tour through South Australia.

According to the head the additions were made to meet demand with New Zealand being “very popular amongst Australians”.

“Launching the new program we do have some new things to talk about and we’re expanding the program,” she said.

“We’ve had excellent feedback from our customers and travellers so as a result we are adding a new itinerary in South Australia and three new itineraries in New Zealand.”

She added that the company’s most popular routes include the Kimberley’s itineraries and Tasmania.

Inspiring Journeys launched in April this year with the aim of reaching new generation travellers with more active and independent options.
