Palazzo Versace Gold Coast, the world’s first fully fashion branded hotel, has once again been recognised as Australia’s leading luxury accommodation provider. On Tuesday, the haute hotel was awarded ‘Best Luxury Hotel’ at the first ever Australian Traveller Reader’s Choice Awards. This latest acknowledgement is one of eight new accolades awarded to Palazzo Versace since the start of the year.

In November, the prestigious Conde Nast Traveler’s Reader’s Choice Awards (USA) ranked Palazzo Versace as the second best Australian resort in their Top Resort listing, and seventh overall within the Oceania region. In September, the World Travel Awards voted the fashionable hotel ‘Australia’s Leading Hotel’ and in April Luxury Travel Magazine named Palazzo Versace ‘Best Australian Hotel’ for the fourth consecutive year. Palazzo Versace was also named a finalist in the luxury accommodation category at the recent Queensland Tourism Awards and a finalist for Best Luxury Hotel in the 2011 HM Awards.

In February, Palazzo Versace’s two leading dining facilities, Vanitas Restaurant and Vie Bar + Restaurant, were both awarded Two Chef Hats by the Australian Good Food & Travel Guide (AGFG). This award makes Palazzo Versace Gold Coast the only hotel in Australia to have two restaurants awarded Two Chef Hats.

Palazzo Versace’s General Manager, Russell Durnell, said that Palazzo Versace was honoured to be recognised by such a wide range of prestigious awards, “Palazzo Versace epitomizes the luxury hotel experience and we pride ourselves on the excellent service we provide all of our guests. The Palazzo Versace team continues to push the boundaries by delivering not only exceptional service, but also offering a range of luxury guest amenities and facilities that cannot be found elsewhere in Queensland or Australia,” he said.
