Luxury hotel, resort and spa operator, Anantara, has set its sights on massive expansion with six properties set to open by the end of next year, adding to the already 17 global resorts in its existing portfolio.
Key destinations for the group include China, India, Maldives and Vietnam, adding to the strength of their 10 properties in Thailand; however sights are also set for the Middle East according to visiting Group Director of Public Relations, Marion Walsh, who told ETB three more will open in Abu Dhabi and a first for Oman in 2012.
Growing from three resorts to 17 in a mere five years, Ms Walsh said the company wanted to deliver “destination experiences for guests”, adding cultural elements individual to each resort.
Next year’s “beauty property” as highlighted by Ms Marion is in Bali’s Uluwatu area, with the resort set into a cliff offering an all-suite experience for guests. |
