HOTEL REVIEW - Ten Bompas - Johannesburg

This boutique hotel is located in the business area and is only 30 minutes away from the airport. Ten very large suites offering a double sided fire place.

CITY REVIEW – Johannesburg

Imagine your soul stretching out to a world where basic is basic and life sings the songs of truth. Entering the house built in 1945 where the one and only Nelson Mandela lived was one of the key highlights so far. As the house is now a museum showcasing Mandela’s role and noticeable sacrifices he made for the people of South Africa is still today overwhelming.

HOTEL REVIEW – Fairmont Zimbali Resort – Durban

Overlooking the vast Indian Ocean while nestled on the hills, this resort is only 20 minutes from Durban City. Staff throughout the property were just amazing.

CITY REVIEW – Durban

Learn from the world famous Gasa clan while taking a chance eating lunch within a crocodile pen.

Hearing about Durban for many years as the place where the world gets together, it is no wonder now seeing this first hand as the beaches, the people and the culture make this a city worth to be on everyone’s itinerary.

ON LOCATION – Shamwari Private Game Reserve Part 1

The afternoon soon disappeared and it was now nightfall. It is amazing how time passes so quickly when you are on safari. Luckily we spotted a few Zebras, Springboks and then the prints of the leopard.

LODGE REVIEW Lobengula Lodge, Shamwari

Unbeatable as the staff cater for your every request and ensure you are looked after from the moment you arrive until you drive out of the park. The team especially the guides are the best in the field as the knowledge, engagement and enthusiasm they deliver helps make the South African adventure that extra special.

ON LOCATION – Shamwari Private Game Reserve Part 2

The afternoon soon disappeared and it was now nightfall. It is amazing how time passes so quickly when you are on safari. Luckily we spotted a few Zebras, Springboks and then the prints of the leopard.

HOTEL REVIEW Pezula Resort Hotel & Spa, Knysna
(The Garden Route)

Known as the World’s Greatest Hotel (Travel & Leisure 2009), this property has won over 10 awards within the past four years. The staff truly spoil you on every level.

ON LOCATION – Plettenburg Bay (The Garden Route)

The Garden Route (Port Elizabeth to Cape Town) is famous for many reasons including the spectacular scenery, the boutique hotels, adventure sports and the wineries.

HOTEL REVIEW – The Marine, Hermanus (The Garden Route)

Only 110km from Cape Town International Airport, 90km from Stellenbosh, the property is situated right on the cliff with unbeatable views of Walker Bay.

HOTEL REVIEW – le quartier francais, Franschhoek Valley
(The Garden Route)

This boutique hotel is hidden from the main road while being surrounded by gardens with a mountainous outlook.

HOTEL REVIEW – La Residence, Franschhoek (The Garden Route)

Unique character and outrageous décor literally takes you out of this world. The luxurious yet strangely homely feel makes this the favourite for all.

ON LOCATION – Great White Shark Cage Diving

Bungy jumping and sky-diving – these had been completed with relative ease whilst touring the Garden Route. The prospect of shark cage diving however had provided a lingering sense of anxiety for weeks.

ON LOCATION – Franschhoek (The Garden Route)

Stunning, luxurious, peaceful, exquisite and definitely charming are just a few words that come to mind while travelling in the Cape Winelands especially in the town of Franschhoek.

HOTEL REVIEW – Cape Royale, Cape Town

All guests staying in the property are known as either Lord or Lady and with an assigned butler on every floor, all requests are easily met in incredible time.

ON LOCATION – Cape Town

Known to all as the Mother City of South Africa, Cape Town is a place where true beauty lies, a funky soul beats and where mother-nature has left her in-print.
