:: Thai it up for National Day ::

|
Members of the Thai community and industry members converged in Sydney yesterday to celebrate the country’s National Day coinciding with the King’s 84th Birthday Anniversary, who also holds the title of the longest standing Monarch in the world spanning 65 years.
Thailand continues to stand out as one of the most popular leisure and business destinations for Australian travellers, in addition to VFR travel for its 30,000 nationals that reside in Australia.
Consul General of Thailand in Australia reiterated his concern recent floods across the country would cause a backlash in visitation and encouraged guests to continue their support toward affected businesses and communities, advising that he was confident the “comprehensive master plan” which is already in action would lead to a “remarkable recovery” in coming months.
