Flight details: Virgin Pacific Blue (DJ 9001). Sydney to Nadi, 3 December 2011. Seat: 15D. Economy Class. Check-in and luggage allowance: I arrived at Sydney Airport approximately two hours prior to departure. Checking-in my baggage was speedy and simple. The staff were friendly and easy-going. A direct three and a half hour flight. I was privileged to enjoy exit row seating, enabling extra leg room. My checked luggage was considerably less than the more than reasonable allowance weight of 23kg. Economy seat/cabin conditions: Upon boarding the aircraft I was greeted and directed by the friendly cabin crew. The staff were excellent and easily approachable. They were able to meet my every need and requirement. The 3-3 seat configuration of economy class suited the size of the aircraft and the generous 34 inch pitch allowed for ample leg room. Customer service: This was my first time flying with Pacific Blue and I was pleased to note the cabin crew were visible, professional and able to service all passengers aboard. I was impressed by the level of customer service applied by the stewards and disembarked with a sense of satisfaction. Meal and snack service: Cold water, tea and coffee was offered at intervals during the short flight, as well as the option of a hot or cold meal and drinks service. Entertainment: Entertainment consoles were available for use at purchase. On-time performance: The flight departed on time and arrived in similar fashion when we touched down in Fiji. |
