Travel Counsellors Australian head office last week launched it’s “New Starter Day” program, inviting all TC’s that have joined within the last 6 months back into head office for a recap on their original induction, but more importantly for them to all meet each  other and know that they are not alone!

Over the last 17 years Travel Counsellors own research has shown that most people who were starting their business from scratch benefited greatly from the day.  With a heavy focus on boosting motivation and the camaraderie that is evident when they walk into head office, the day really aids them in moving their business to the next level.

Australian Business Development Manager, Tracy Parkinson organised the day that saw a number of Travel Counsellors from around Australia meet new friends and old at the company’s head office in Melbourne.  Avis Scholarship Winner & Gold Travel Counsellor Claudia Silk was a guest speaker on the day, sharing great advice and her own road to success.  “When a TC joins us we have them for 3 days on induction, and really load them up with a lot of information, so the New Starter Day was introduced so that we can cover things that are now important for the next stage of their business” comments Tracy.

The group of ‘New Starters’ were taken out to lunch with the opportunity to build stronger relationships with their head office staff, as well as business focussed sessions. Queensland based Travel Counsellor Jamie Cooper commented, “The day was very successful for me and very worthwhile.  I found it extremely motivating and it was great to meet other people in the same stage of their business as me, and make friends throughout Australia.  The interaction with head office was invaluable, and I am already looking forward to my first Anniversary Day”.
