:: Agents on APT “safari” in Victoria ::

This group of selected agents from APT’s Platinum and Gold preferred partners in Victoria were thanked for their support while celebrating the release of APT’s first Africa brochure recently with a safari-type outing at Victoria’s Werribee Open Range Zoo.

The group saw the zoo’s lions, zebras, rhinoceros, cheetah, giraffe, gorillas, hippopotamus, meerkat, serval cat and vervet monkey during their visit which included lunch and a photo competition.

They were also treated to a private behind the scenes viewing of the serval cat whilst locked in its enclosure, they embarked on a guided walking tour around the zoo, a safari bus took them through the Savannah and they were the first to inspect the newly relocated SlumberSafari lodges for overnight stays.

APT presented the agents with a gift of Masai beaded bracelets. Werribee Zoo has undertaken a 25-year commitment to a Masai tribe in Kenya to purchase their beads in exchange for halving their livestock which are currently affecting the native wildlife due to the drought.
