Smile for the camera aboard Crystal

Monday, 12 December 2011

Guest portraits will now be shot by award-winning Master Photographers on 11 sailings aboard Crystal Cruises in 2012.

The photographers will have obtained the highest distinction possible as Fellows of the British Institute of Professional Photographers and the Master Photographers association.

Private photography sessions can be organised either onboard Crystal Symphony or Crystal Serenity whilst sailing or onshore during port calls with the option for passengers to  customize ththe shoot with different wardrobes or locations.

There's no rushing through the shoot with a pre-planning consultation, unlimited shoot time, unlimited amount of photos and the ability to review photos along the way.

Photos will be retouched and presented in a hand-crafted, custom bound 16" x 12" embossed-aluminum album with the option to select alternative presentation formats, including frames, and shipped to passengers four weeks after disembarking.

Paragon Pixels will run the program onboard as an expansion of the current 'Crystal Celebrations Private Portrait Program'.

"Ones's wedding might be the only time one secures a professional photographer to record meaningful moments in one's life," Paragon Pixels founder Keith Roberts said.

"This program provides rare access and opportunity to have one's personality, relationship, lifestyle or intimate vacation memories beautifully captured by a prominent industry artist."

One Master Photographer will sail on each of the following itineraries in 2012:

18 January - Los Angeles to Sydney
6 February - Miami to Rio de Janeiro
7 February - Sydney to Singapore
3 March - Buenos Aires to Miami
