Travellers wanting to access their spending money abroad now have more options with the introduction of the next generation Multi-currency Cash Passport by Access Prepaid this week.
Offering free international ATM and point of sale transactions, the Multi-currency Cash Passport is the first prepaid travel card that can be loaded with seven major currencies including $AUD, $NZD, $USD, £GBP, €EUR, $SGD and $HKD.
“The Multi-currency Cash Passport uses innovative smart wallet functionality specifically developed for the Cash Passport, and it blows the competition out of the water,” Director of Global Sales and Strategic Relationships for Access Prepaid Worldwide, Graham Perry said.
The innovative technology powering the product not only saves on fees, but is accepted at 32 million point-of-sale ATMs worldwide and online.
Maintaining the current features of the traditional Cash Passport, the new Multi-currency Cash Passport allows the ability to lock in the exchange rate on the day of loading, has the security features of chip and PIN functionality and a 24/7 Global Emergency Assistance line.
It is expected to be a success in the Australian market as agencies such as Jetset Travel, Travelworld, Flight Centre, Harvey World Travel, and Travelscene are already rolling out the product in time for Christmas, with the card being available globally in late 2012. |
