SAA's Australian operations received some well-deserved recognition at a special ceremony in Johannesburg last week. At a glittering black tie event, awards were given for the global airline's best performing stations both on the African continent and around the world. SAA's Head of Australasia Thevan Krishna was on hand to receive an award for Australia which is in the top five. "We're delighted to have been given this recognition following a successful year for SAA in the Australasian market. Our passenger numbers in the last fiscal year grew smartly despite continued pressure on international airlines, Thevan said.
