SOUTH American eco-adventure operator explora has enhanced its web site activities and introduced another way of helping local communities by establishing an on-line store selling a range of products that adventure travellers might find useful.

Shoppers can choose from a line of branded products from T-shirts ($35) to fleecy jackets ($105) and belts ($45) to caps ($35) carrying the explora logo.

The store will be contributing funds to a variety of significant social and conservation initiatives in the remote regions of Patagonia, the Atacama Desert and Easter Island where explora has lodges. Half of all profits will go to the explora Foundation.

CEO of explora, Jesus Parrilla said, “The Online Store gives us the opportunity to meet the growing demands of our clients and business partners for explora gear while channelling funds to important causes.”
