Preparing to celebrate the big 2-0, Disneyland Paris has released plans to extend its hours, launch new shows, employ thousands of new staff and create new programmes in time for its twentieth anniversary in April this year.

Officially opening on 12 April 1992, the major fun park announced earlier this week it would mark the milestone celebrations by lengthening its hours on weekdays between April and September as well create 4,000 new jobs opportunities to help manage the extended fun.

In an online statement released by 24-7 Press Release, Park officials also said they had planned new programmes including night-time show Dreams, Disney Magic on Parade, Meet Mickey Mourse and visual displays with “eye-popping” special effects.

Sleeping Beauty’s Castle will also transform at night to showcase the lights and laser shows and favourite Disney characters will pop out and greet the kids at the Main Street and USA Celebrates parades.

Back in 1992 when they Park first launched it was called Euro Disney Resort and has welcomed up for 15 million guests from across the globe annually.
