Elvis has left the building and will hit the high seas in celebration of his 77th birthday next week.

The 5th annual Elvis Cruise will set sail from Jacksonville, Florida on 12 January aboard Carnival Fascination following birthday activities planned in Memphis, Tennessee and will feature a vast array of entertainment and special guests.

With less than 50 cabins available at the time of publishing, Elvis fans will spend 4-nights at sea celebrating the King’s life through theme nights including the ‘35th Anniversary Kick-Off’, ‘50s Night’, ‘Blue Hawaii Luau Night’ and ‘USO Formal Night’.

Visiting Nassau in the Bahamas before returning to Jacksonville, passengers will have the chance to delve into Elvis’ life through appearances by those who knew him including one of his closest friends and hairdresser, Larry Geller, and iconic photojournalist Al Wertheimer.

Elvis’ Imperials will take the stage along with an array of the best Elvis Tribute Artists and an extensive list of performers who will delve into the musical library of ‘The King of Rock n Roll’.

With two full days at sea, passengers will also have the chance to unleash their inner ‘Elvis’ when they take part in activities including the ‘Elvis Cruise Gospel Show Choir’ and ‘2012 Elvis Cruise Idol’.
