Improved Sydney - Nadi schedules and Hong Kong flights to kick in soon

Monday, 9 January 2012

On January 15, Air Pacific will almost double its weekly flights into Sydney by flying 13 times per week with both morning and afternoon departures to Nadi every day except Monday.

From Tuesday to Sunday, there will be a 6:30am Sydney - Nadi service, arriving in Nadi at 12:25pm, and there will also be a daily 12:55pm Sydney – Nadi service, with the flight getting into Nadi at 6.45pm.

From Nadi, there will be a daily 9am service to Sydney, with the flight arriving at 11:25am. In addition, there will be evening flights every day except Sunday, departing Nadi at 6.30pm and arriving in Sydney at 9.05pm.

With these flexible departure and arrival times, passengers now will be able to enjoy same day connections from Nadi International Airport to Fiji’s outer islands and resorts.

In addition, on January 19th, in recognition of our commitment to our growing Hong Kong market, we will be upgrading our service to use our B747-400 jumbo jet aircraft on this route by flying to Hong Kong twice a week on Thursday and Saturdays (we’ll be removing our Monday service).

These flights will depart Nadi at 9:30am, arriving into Hong Kong at 2:50pm. They will depart Hong Kong at 4:30pm the same day, getting into Nadi at 7:40am the next day.

With 28 Business (Tabua) class and 425 economy (Pacific Voyager) class seats, our B747 will enhance our product offering in this market and the 22% increase in seats on this route will undoubtedly have a positive effect on Fijian tourism.
