Air NZ unveils All Black Beech

Wednesday, 11 January 2012

Emphasising its long standing relationship with the New Zealand’s national rugby team, Air New Zealand has unveiled the All Black makeover of its Beech 1900D.

Following in the footsteps of two A320 and one 777-300ER aircraft, the turbo-prop plane returned from a brief renovation trip at the Eagle Air engineering hangar in Hamilton this week painted in “eye-catching” black livery.

Eagle Air general manager Carrie Hurihanganui said the makeover was one of three that would join the fleet of All Black planes and would appeal to customers that are “crazy about rugby”.

“...we’re sure this will be a very popular aircraft to be on during the winter months in particular!” Ms Hurihanganui explained.

Other two aircraft are expected to join the fleet by late January and over the next few months.

What do you think of the newly decorated aircraft?
