P&O Cruises have responded to the popularity of its short break options and released additional three-night cruises along with introducing four-night cruises to its winter program in 2013.

Featuring 61 voyages across 13 itineraries, the cruises will depart from Sydney and Brisbane from April through September 2013.

New themes will be introduced including Mother’s Day at sea and Christmas in July, in addition to the comedy, lifestyle and food and wine cruises that have increased in popularity in recent years.

“A lot of Australians see our short break cruises as a great way to dip their toe in the water and try a cruise holiday while our cruise devotees see them as a good excuse for a quick cruise fix,” Carnival Australia senior vice president Jenny Lourey said.

Short break fares start from AUD$529 per person and agents have been invited to learn more about the 2013 program via a series of webinars on 11 January and 18 January with more information available via www.myccs.com.au.
