Just as travellers prepare trips in to the UK for the 2012 Olympics, China Airlines has released plans to cancel two weekly services between Taipei Taoyuan to London Heathrow. Commencing 25 March this year, the carrier will cancel the service but has already removed flights from its website’s booking platform, Airline Route reported. The flights were initially initiated on 28 March 2010 with three weekly services but were reduced to two from 31 March last year. On a more positive note, the China based carrier won the International Trophy for more beautiful entry from outside the US at the 123rd Rose Parade. Entering the float competition with a Spirit of Prosperity and Harmony display, the carrier won the award for the twenty-first time. |
