Jetstar extends Asian services

Thursday, 12 January 2012

Increasing Aussie connection into Asia, Jetstar Airways has released plans to extend services between Darwin – Manila to Tokyo Narita.

Pending authoritative approval, from 26 March this year the carrier plans to use its A320 to fly to the three destinations, making Jetstar the first low cost airline to make the journey between Manila and Tokyo.

As well as extending the journey, the Qantas subsidiary will also increase the Darwin to Manila service from three to four weekly.

Meanwhile commencing 25 March this year its Asia based sister-brand Jetstar Asia is also planning to increase services between Singapore – Taipei – Osaka Kansai from one to two daily.
