LAN Colombia announced that it will begin flying directly between Bogota and Miami starting February 1, 2012. The new route is part of the network of destinations offered by LAN and will be operated by LAN Colombia, the newly launched affiliate of LAN Airlines in that country. The new route will have seven weekly flights between Bogota and Miami. This will also improve connections in South America, adding another route to the extensive network of destinations that LAN offers through its affiliates and partnerships. In addition, increasing the arrival of more foreign visitors to Colombia.
