Stefan Kracke

Sonaisali Island Resort, Fiji is pleased to announce the appointment of Stefan Kracke as General Manager. Stefan joins the Sonaisali Executive Management Team after similar roles throughout New Zealand and Germany.  Stefan’s ability to lead and motivate staff to work as a successful team makes him the ideal candidate to take on this challenging and dynamic role.

Stefan’s previous role before moving to Fiji was General Manager with Mercure Picton in the Marlborough Sounds, New Zealand. Prior to that, his appointments have been with several resorts and hotels throughout New Zealand and Germany including;  Puka Park Resort,  Pauanui Beach, Coromandel, NZ; Millbrook Resort, Queenstown, NZ; Ringhotel Palmenwald Freudenstadt, Germany;  Schwarzwald Park Freudenstadt, Germany.

Stefan is very excited to be based in Fiji, having spent a lot of time here over  the past few years, both as a holiday maker and diver, as well as being involved in several charitable events, such as the Race to Survive organised by Accor and Cure Kids.  It is a country that both he and his wife, Cora, have grown to love, and are now proud to call home.

“I have been to Fiji many times over the past couple of years and been involved in some exciting projects. I love the people and the environment. I enjoy the generous hospitality and the different cultures of the people of Fiji. “Explains Stefan.

Stefan didn’t hesitate in accepting the General Manager position.

“The opportunity to work in a resort with a great reputation and a strong brand, made accepting this role a very easy decision. I love challenges and here I am able to use my experiences to take a fantastic product even further.” Said Stefan.

Sonaisali Island Resort’s Managing Director, Aaron McGrath, welcomes Stefan to the team and looks forward to working with Stefan.
