This premium quality tour commences in London before heading to the renowned university town of Cambridge. Guests will have the opportunity to stroll by the fine colleges, including the magnificent Kings College, before continuing on to historic York to see England’s largest medieval cathedral, York Minster, and walk the cobbled streets to the famous ‘Shambles’.

Leaving York guests will cross the spectacular scenery of wild Northumberland Moors and pass the romantic ruins of Jedburgh Abbey en route to Scotland’s capital, and home of the Tattoo, Edinburgh. Here they will enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city including Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, Holyroodhouse Palace and Princes Street. That evening it will be time for the main event, the 62nd Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo where guests can view the spectacle from their guaranteed seats.

The next day guests will depart Edinburgh via Gretna Green, where many romantic English couples have eloped, before crossing the border back in to England. Next stop is lively Liverpool where guests can relax in your First Class hotel, The Atlantic Tower, adjacent the iconic Liver Building and overlooking the Dock Front World Heritage Site.

The last day on tour sees guests stop in the beautiful fortress town of Chester where their Tour Director will guide them to the Eastgate Clock, Cathedral, the unique black and white ‘Rows’ (shopping arcades) and the remains of the Roman Amphitheatre.
