Alaska Airlines launches new Air Pass

Alaska Airlines has released its “2012 Air Pass,” which offers a range of travel options in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The new Air Pass covers more than 90 destinations served by Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air including Los Angeles, New York, Las Vegas, Vancouver and Mexico City. 

Passengers can select their choice of destinations and combine them into a single travel document. 

Flight passes are priced from USD$129 (excluding taxes and fees) for a low season one-way flight within Alaska. A minimum of two flight passes and a maximum of nine can be purchased. 

Examples of some other routes and one-way base fares (excluding taxes and fees) include:

  • Dallas to Alaska from USD$209
  • Kansas City to Canada from USD$139
  • Minneapolis to Mexico from USD$179
  • Seattle to Hawaii from USD$209
  • Los Angeles to Washington DC from USD$219

Taxes and fees are additional and are dependent on itinerary. 

Fares can be booked through GDS and will be converted into Australian dollars at the time of booking.  Fares are valid until 31 December 2012. 

Low season fares are valid for travel until 31 May and from 1 September until 31 December 2012.  High season fares apply throughout June, July and August.
