Sofitel So Bangkok’s 80 Dollars 80 Days campaign

Sofitel So Bangkok is set to open its doors on 28 February  2012 with an exciting campaign that offers guests great value and the perfect way to discover just what makes Bangkok’s first truly urban design hotel so unique in its masterful collaboration between an award-winning Thai architect, five leading local designers, and  world-renowned designer Monsieur Christian Lacroix.

“80 Dollars 80 Days” campaign entitles all guests – individual travellers, leisure groups and corporate meeting delegates – staying at the property during the first 80 days after its opening to a credit of USD80 net per room per night.

Big Bonus for Leisure Travellers Seeking a Getaway Vacation
For individual guests and leisure group members, the credit value can be spent at any time throughout their stay at the hotel’s selection of cutting-edge restaurants and get-together venues, as well as at So SPA. It also extends to room upgrade.

Value-Added Meetings and Incentives
For corporate bookings of a minimum of 10 guest rooms, delegates will receive USD80 credit per room per night that can be used for a meeting package, with the hotel offering a choice of half- and full-day options, including an Element Themed Package featuring a coffee break built around The Five Elements. Any balance remaining may be spent at the hotel’s restaurants and bars, and at So SPA, as well as for a room upgrade. Bookings must be made prior to or within the first 80 days of the hotel’s opening, although meetings may be hosted any time up until 30 September 2012.

Commanding a prime central location overlooking Lumpini Park, the 30-storey hotel features 238 guestrooms with themed décor centred on The Five Elements, while among other unique attractions is the very latest Apple Mac mini in-room technology that provides guests with digital solutions to what they want to know, see, hear, and do for leisure and work. All guestrooms, as well as public areas, also feature free WIFI. Other in-room benefits include complimentary in-room private bar, “His & Hers” amenities and Illy espresso machine in So Comfy room and higher categories.

For business travellers, the hotel features Sofitel’s signature InspiredMeetings™ concept, with the motto “Inspired by You, Staged by Us”, which combines the latest conference technology with a passion for excellence. Facilities include a 380 sqm pillar-less ballroom, and a Social Club offering meeting spaces inspired by a production house ambience, innovative technology services, dedicated personnel, and a club area with live cooking and creative refreshments.

As for where guests can spend their US$80 per room per night credit, the hotel’s dining and socialising options are more than tempting. Culinary offerings range from the world food market of the hotel’s signature Red Oven, to the heady mix of gastronomy and spectacular views at the rooftop Park Society and the sweet temptation of Chocolab boutique, while the chic drinks venues speak for themselves – MIXO and HI-SO. Plus, cocktails and light refreshments are to be enjoyed pool party style under the sun or the stars at The Water Club, and the world’s best well-being treatments are to be indulged at So SPA.

With “80 Dollars 80 Days” guests will indeed enjoy an enhanced experience of Sofitel So Bangkok, the hotel that’s set to be the talk of the town, the place where design meets pleasure, technology meets comfort, and people meet people.
