Sailing through this paradise consistently offers balmy easterly trade winds averaging 15 – 20 knots, creating the perfect conditions for a relaxing sail through the calm waters behind the reef and spirited sailing in open-water passages.

Famous for crystal clear waters and beautiful barrier reefs, swimming in Tahiti’s warm lagoons offers a living aquarium of brilliantly coloured fish, docile sharks, and giant manta rays. Between August and November, whales venture to this region, and cruisers commonly sail alongside these magnificent creatures.
