New touring options such as exclusive special journeys and a range of suggested itineraries for tailor-made packages which focus on regional areas are featured in the 2012  Eastern Europe brochure just released by Beyond Travel.

Marketing manager Bryce Crampton said that trends over the last year had shown him that Australians were looking to travel further afield in Eastern Europe and were seeking more unique and regional tours to areas not on the main tourist trail.

He adds that Beyond have designed more small group touring and FIT itineraries that encompass, not only the best of Eastern Europe, but also smaller, lesser known countries that offer travellers a more local experience.

An example is the new 12-day Ukraine, Poland and Hungary tour  designed to cover  popular and more interesting lesser known places in Eastern Europe. Also new are escorted tours that cover more regional areas like the 15-day Highlights of Germany and the seven-day Magic of Poland itinerary.

The new Tailor Made section of the brochure includes a range of suggested itineraries to help travellers  design their own packages in countries such as Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Poland, Austria, Hungary and Czech Republic.
