About the Opportunity
Longreach Regional Council is seeking an experienced Tourism Coordinator to join their Community Services – Tourism team in Longreach.
Reporting to the Manager Community and Economic Development, the primary objective of this role will be to lead and manage the tourism development team within Council and implement the strategic and corporate plan of the Longreach Regional Council, with respect to tourism matters and the Council’s policies and procedures.
In return for your dedication, you will be rewarded with attractive remuneration circa $43,803-$48,208 (Level 4-5 Local Government Officers Award, 1998) commensurate with skills, experience and qualifications. Council superannuation contribution of up to 12%, Plus EBA and Locality Allowance also form part of this attractive package.
You will also enjoy a friendly work environment that promotes a healthy work/life balance, working a 9 day fortnight + 5 weeks annual leave, allowing you plenty of time to explore this beautiful rural location!
