TripAdvisor, Inc., the world’s largest travel website, reveals Hard Rock Hotel Penang was chosen as No.1 Trendiest Hotel in Malaysia by TripAdvisor in its 2012 Travelers’ Choice® awards.

Now in its tenth year, the annual TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice awards honor the world’s best hotels, earning their distinction from those who know them best – real travelers. Unlike any other hotel honors, TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice winners are based on millions of valuable reviews and opinions from travelers around the world.

According to Mike M from New Zealand, a travel reviewer on TripAdvisor, he commented in his “Never a Dull Moment” review, “This is a great hotel if you love the pool or the beach. In true resort style, you can be entertained all day without leaving the hotel”. A number of other reviewers also highlighted the Lagoon Deluxe Room that has direct access to the pool from its room deck as an awesome and unique feature.

In addition to the Trendiest category, Hard Rock Hotel Penang is also listed No.18 on the Top 25 Relaxation & Spa Hotels in Malaysia.
