Travel Counsellors has come a long way over the last 4 years of operation in Australia, and 2011 was a year of great achievements and celebrations for the company, here is just a brief summary of some of the highlights; March: Operations Director Karen Morris visits to roll out new Phenix back office system New Australian General Manager appointment announced; Deb Duncan July: New Australian General Manager Deb Duncan commences in Melbourne Head Office August: Avis scholarship of Excellence finalists named; Claudia Silk, Travel Counsellor Travel Counsellors launches Anniversary Day program in conjunction with their 4th Birthday Celebrations of operation in Australia Second Exclusive Australian TC Famil heads to China; accompanied by Operations Jonathan Garrett and 8 lucky TC’s TC Kids holiday school program is continued September: Launch of Cruise Month – with cruise companies and wholesalers invited in each week to showcase their products on TCTV Travel Counsellors are named as one of UK’s brightest businesses by the Telegraph October: Christine Jenkins & Michelle Kelly both achieve TC “GOLD” status for the first time Global TC Challenge winners celebrate in Barbados; including Aussie TC Romanie Thomas Qantas ground plans, TC’s and head office staff all over the world go into immediate action making alternate arrangements for their affected clients Head Office and Victorian TC’s compete in Melbourne Marathon raising funds for TC Charity – Plan November: Claudia Silk, Travel Counsellor named as Avis Scholarship of Excellence Winner Global Award Winners from Australia; Elizabeth Keller, Scott Mayne & Special Attendee Claudia Silk was recognized on stage infront of 1100 international colleagues, suppliers and head office staff for her Avis Scholarship win December: Gold Achievers celebrate in style at Traveleague, followed by a surprise evening cruise with champagne & canapés TC Teens is launched in Australia with motivational videos for TC’s teens who are facing exam time at school TC Kids Christmas Program is continued |
