Newly appointed Mark Rizzuto
TMS team

TMS Asia-Pacific has welcomed high profile industry strategist Mark Rizzuto to the team as a major shareholder and TMS Principal, taking the company forward into 2012 which is one of the best starts to a new year in recent times.

Mr Rizzuto spoke at a media event in Sydney earlier this week about the possibilities and position of the business as a recruitment specialist in today’s employment market as a fresh space with untapped opportunities.

TMS Asia-Pacific founder Gary Marshall, who was also present, said Mr Rizzuto’s core expertise in the area of emerging travel products and technologies and how they directly impact business practices in the travel industry would benefit TMS.

“We are over the moon to have Mark join the TMS team,” Mr Marshall said.  “A key element of Mr Rizzuto’s new role would be a focus on the company’s development across the region and particularly the company’s Australian base” Mr Marshall continued, explaining Mr Rizzuto’s role in addition to management responsibilities will be the design and execution of projects and other activity designed to strengthen the TMS brand in all our areas of operation.

Mr Mark Rizzuto has been actively engaged in the travel industry for more than 30 years and is extremely well known on the global tourism scene where he has held a variety of senior roles in the airline, retail, wholesale and technology sectors.

TMS Asia-Pacific is one of the largest top-tier specialist Travel, Tourism and Hospitality recruitment and HR consultancy firm in the region.  With offices in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, Dubai, Hong Kong and China,  the experienced team of consultants are dedicated to providing unparalleled recruitment services to talented candidates and exceptional organisations.

A recent survey conducted by TMS Asia-Pacific revealed a positive start to 2012 as employer confidence surges, and now with Mr Rizzuto on board, the company looks set for a successful year ahead.
