Non-Stop Bangkok

Wednesday, 22 February 2012

Bangkok Airways is set to launch a non-stop route between Bangkok and Lampang, commencing March 25, with twelve flights per week.

The usual stop-over at Sukhothai will be avoided.

Lampang is the third largest city in northern Thailand and is filled with exotic temples, horse-drawn carriages and heritage-listed dwellings.

The airline will also beef up its current key routes between Bangkok - Chang Mai and Bangkok - Phuket, with an additional daily flight, beginning on March 25.

In an effort to strengthen Bangkok Airways network and develop code-share agreements, Bangkok Airways president, Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth, presented the changes as a step forward.

“We are very active this year. Our priority is to add frequency on many of our domestic and international routes that show high demand,” he said.
