Carrier: Air Pacific

Flight Number: FJ911 - Departing 09:00am

Duration:  4 hours 40 mins

Aircraft:  Boeing 747-400

Class: D - Business

Configuration: 2-2 in business class

Check in experience:
Checking in for business class has a priority line, making the experience easy.  After my luggage was tagged and boarding passes issued by a friendly Air Pacific staff member, I went through customs.  The express lane for business class passengers was closed, however the process was still in a timely manner.

On time performance:
The flight left on time at 09:00am.  Boarding was quick even though it was a full flight.

Seat/Cabin conditions:
Total capacity is 458 passengers with saleable configuration of 28 Business Class and 425 Economy
Business class seats have a pitch of 57", a 12" recline and in-seat video with 22 video channels and 12 audio channels.  With a seating configuration in Business Class of 2-2, the cabin was extremely spacious.

Meals & Snacks:
Meals and drinks were served promptly, and presented well.  A breakfast was served as a choice of pancakes or omelette with fruit, cereal, croissants and pastries.

Service:
The friendly staff were happy to assist with their professional service but laid back style. All cabin crew encountered were more than happy to assist.

Entertainment:
Each seat has a personal TV unit with video/audio on demand. The movies included latest releases as well as some golden oldies. There are programs for children including games and informative destination information was available.  The systems are a little dated, so it will be good to see Air Pacific get the new updated systems in their new aircrafts.
