Australians travelling can now keep in touch with their fury loved ones back home, thanks to the launch of PetSkype by Hanrob Pet Hotels.
In a demand for customers to communicate with their pets in a more personal way while away on holiday or business trips, Hanrob Pet Hotels have developed an innovative new service, PetSkype.
Introduced into Hanrob Pet Hotels in Sydney and Melbourne, PetSkype video enables sessions between the owner, the pet and their Hanrob carer to help with common ‘separation anxiety’ felt by owners whilst away from their beloved pets.
The real time video allows owners to see and interact with their pets throughout the session.
CEO of Hanrob Pet Hotels Andrew Biggs describes the innovative service as a new way to make customers and their pets very happy during their stay.
Describing Australia as a pet loving nation, Mr Biggs said most owners miss their pets as much as their family and friends when they’re away.
“With advanced technology it’s easier than ever to stay in contact with people. Now, our new PetSkype service gives customers the opportunity for social interaction with their pets, bringing them closer together, no matter the distance,” the CEO commented.
Expecting the service to be very popular with customers, Mr Biggs said “offering real time PetSkype conversations seemed the perfect way to help owners connect with their pets to see how they are doing for themselves.”
Hanrob Pet Hotels client of 15 years, Ita Buttrose said she is keen to try the new service that she thinks is a fabulous idea.
“Will I use PetSkype? You bet!” declared Ms Buttrose.
PetSkype is available as part of Hanrob Pet Hotel’s new Staying Connected package, which includes digital photos (PetPics) and pre-recorded videos (PetVideo) in order for customers to stay connected with their pets.
In addition to this, Hanrob Pet Hotels provides a truly unique Pet Hotel service. A range of tailored packages to suit individual pets include exercise solutions, grooming, play time and even a private man-made beach.
