Travellers Choice is working with digital marketing specialist Blackglass to develop search engine strategies designed to boost traffic to the company’s corporate website and convert visitors into sales leads for members.
Travellers Choice Marketing Manager Robyn Mitchell said the strategies being developed encompassed a wide range of Search Engine Optimisation activities.
“Among them is the further development of individual agent profile pages on the Travellers Choice website,” said Mitchell.
“At the moment visitors see a page listing each of our member’s contact information, website link and location on Google maps. We want to expand this to also include a short description of each agency, enabling us to promote members even more effectively, and helping optimise ranking results when consumers search for individual agencies.”
Meanwhile, Travellers Choice is continuing to grow its presence in the social media sphere, with the launch of a new travel blog.
The national retail group is also launching a Twitter campaign to target and attract followers to @TravChoiceAU, in addition to a series of Facebook promotions and competitions now driving traffic to the Travellers Choice website.
