Now considered as a key player in the luxury hotel sector following its repositioning, Sofitel is continuing to expand in the world’s major cities, and is today opening its first hotel in Auckland, New Zealand.
Formerly trading under the MGallery (Accor) brand, this establishment is now being operated as a Sofitel hotel, with Sofitel service standards and brand amenities already in place. The brand’s goal is to be present in all of the world’s major cities, with a target of 150 hotels by 2015” explained Robert Gaymer-Jones, Chairman and CEO of Sofitel Monde.
