New facilities and upgrades

The award-winning Rembrandt Hotel, located in the heart of Bangkok, can now be booked by travel agents in Australia via their preferred wholesaler and gain direct access to highly competitive rates and inventory.

Major industry operators already showcasing the property include New Horizons Holidays, Creative Holidays, Venture Holidays, and STA Travel.

Previously, wholesalers were unable to provide rates so travel agents would have to book via GDS.  The new system provides more accurate and timely information to local travel agents providing a stronger resource.

The Rembrandt hotel has recently introduced a Family Room category, which holds two adults and two children up to the age of 16 in the same room type, all with breakfast included.  The hotel has also launched a unique cooking studio featuring cooking and fruit carving classes that specialize in local and authentic Thai cuisine under the direction of the acclaimed Rembrandt executive chef, Andrew Mann. 

Complimentary Wi-Fi is now available throughout the hotel and additional environmental-friendly measures have been introduced to enhance the Rembrandt’s environmental sustainability: They include changing the pool filtration system from chlorine to saltwater, and conversion of boiler gas from crude oil to LPG.  The enhancements reflect the Rembrandt’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint, recognized by Green Building & Retrofits Expo Asia where it was awarded as one of the premium green buildings in Bangkok.

The Rembrandt Hotel is located on Sukhumvit Soi 18, 300 meters from the BTS Skytrain (Asoke) and MRT Subway (Sukhumvit).  A complimentary ‘Tuk Tuk’ shuttle service also operates from the hotel to the main road. Guests no longer have to sit in traffic during their commute from the airport as these public transport systems also link in the with Airport link, alleviating the hassle of congested traffic. The hotel is also located near the newly built Terminal 21 shopping center with seven stories of shopping, cinemas and some of the most popular restaurants in town. Along with this, there is also the upscale Emporium Shopping center one BTS station away with all of the finest luxury brands to be found in Thailand.
