With Australian temperatures dropping and demand for tropical Hawaii soaring, the Hawaiian Airlines team is preparing for a three-state sales blitz next week.

From 23 – 27 July, the team will swap their winter woollens for Hawaiian shirts as they showcase Hawaii’s year-round holiday offerings to travel agents in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.

Hawaiian Airlines representatives from both Australia and the airline’s head office in Honolulu will visit many agencies to promote the Aloha State’s great value-for-money experiences and Hawaiian Airlines’ growing flight options from Australia.

“Hawaii has something for every taste and travel budget and that’s a message we’ll be delivering to agents next week,” said Sherilyn Robinson, General Manager Sales and Marketing, for Hawaiian Airlines in Australia.

“Hawaii is home to beautiful beaches, historic landmarks, world-class cuisine and fantastic shopping.  And these diverse attractions are more accessible than ever with Hawaiian’s recent upgrade to the larger Airbus A330 aircraft on the Sydney-Honolulu route and the upcoming introduction of three weekly Boeing 767 flights from Brisbane to Honolulu,” Ms Robinson said.

“We’ve also added New York as our 11th US mainland destination, making Hawaii a great stopover destination before or after visiting the Big Apple.”

As well as selling the destination of Hawaii, the airline will be promoting its generous luggage allowance, in which every one of its passengers flying from Australia can check up to two pieces, each weighing up to 32 kilograms.

Hawaiian Airlines flies daily from Sydney to Honolulu and from 28 November will operate three weekly flights from Brisbane, with onward connections to the neighbour islands of Maui, Kauai and Hawaii Island, plus 11 US mainland destinations.
