InterContinental Adelaide Appoints Bruce Edwards to the position of Executive Assistant Manager

Bruce Edwards first joined IHG in 2009 as Director of Rooms for InterContinental Sydney. During his time with IHG Bruce has been an integral member of the Executive Committee driving and delivering on the hotel’s strategies in relation to people management, guest experience and financial returns.

Bruce has worked on a number of great national projects including the InterContinental Concierge ‘Best in Class’ program for the worldwide brand team. Bruce was also selected as InterContinental Sydney’s Brand Service Behavior Champion to roll out the hotel-wide InterContinental Brand Training earlier this year.

Bruce has extensive experience with over 15 years in the industry. Prior to joining IHG, Bruce worked with Starwood Hotels and Resorts - The Westin Sydney, as their Front Office Manager.

Bruce has excelled in his time with InterContinental Sydney and will bring a wealth of experience and leadership capability to the role of Executive Assistant Manager in Adelaide. Bruce will commence his new role on Monday, 10 September 2012.
