Hong Kong will celebrate all things food and wine throughout November with a month-long
event which commences with the annual Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival (November 1 – 4).

The Festival is sure to entice the taste buds of lovers of fine food and wine and will usher in the Wine and Dine Month celebrations in the city’s popular dining districts.

This year the Festival will showcase wines from more than 20 countries and regions, a diverse menu of food and world-class entertainment set against the stunning backdrop of Victoria Harbour. It continues the tradition of the inaugural event (2009) which was dubbed one of the world’s top ten international food and wine festivals by ForbesTraveler.com. Visitors attending the Festival will also be able to sample a wide selection of premium wines and fine food at the Grand Tasting Pavilion and enjoy wine tasting classes.

And new to this year’s Festival will be a Sweet Corner where pastry chefs will showcase their masterpieces and desserts will be paired with Champagne, Ice wine, Rosé and dessert wines.

There will also be a new product zone where merchants will display first time releases and limited edition products.

Hong Kong Wine and Dine Month
Throughout November gastronomic celebrations will be held across Hong Kong, including the Festival of Restaurants (November 1 – 25), the Lan Kwai Fong Carnival on November 17 and 18, the World of Food and Music at Stanley on November 24 and 25, the Towngas 15th Anniversary Food Promotion (November 1 – December 31) and the Hong Kong International Wine and Spirits Fair (November 8 – 10)*.

Hong Kong Wine and Dine Month offers themed tours and classes
A variety of wine and dine tours and classes will be available to visitors throughout November, including the Hong Kong Wine and Dine tour which is sure to tempt wine and food lovers. The tour includes a visit to Hong Kong’s first winery, the 8th Estate Winery, followed by a cruise from Aberdeen to Lamma Island to enjoy a sumptuous seafood dinner. Other culinary experiences include a tour of the Crown Wine Cellars, the Hong Kong Foodie tour of Central and Sheung Wan and a variety of cooking classes including dim sum-making, award-winning dishes with red wine, cooking with wine at Towngas Avenue and cooking with Master Chef Ricky Cheung.
