The Snow Event at Illawarra Fly Treetop Walk is a huge success with sessions selling out and kids running wild, playing in the snow and snow tubing.

“Parents have flocked to The Fly with their kids for a great chance to play in the snow” says Neredith Elliott GM Illawarra Fly Treetop Walk “The Snow Event is running every day til Saturday and for those who haven’t been able to secure tickets, families are enjoying the Treetop Walk”

The Treetop Walk experience is fun for the kids with views for miles over the South Coast plus the 45m high  Knights Tower for those more adventurous.

“Families are taking advantage of the beautiful springtime weather and taking the kids on the Treetop Walk for some fresh air and fun on the 25m high elevated canopy steel walk” says Elliott “

The region has been swamped with visitors and the local businesses couldn’t be happier.

“We enjoy seeing the flow on effect in the region for other businesses” says Elliott “We are experiencing fourfold increased visitation which is great for the local economy”.

It has been so popular that Illawarra Fly is looking to bring the Snow Event back next year.

Being so close to Wollongong, Sydney and Canberra, this is a great opportunity to escape the city with the kids and enjoy the Treetop Walk. “It’s an easy drive to Illawarra Fly and there’s so much to do in the region with kids, you’d be crazy not to head here and have some fun with the family in the great outdoors” says Elliott.

Illawarra Fly is at Knights Hill, near Robertson in the Southern Highlands above the South Coast – why not take a tour of the Grand Pacific Drive, take in the Fly, head to Robertson and check out the famous Pie shop then cruise back home.  It’s a relaxing, interesting and fun day out, or take a break and spend a few days.
