San Francisco Has Never Looked More Golden Busy!

First week of October filled with major events and activities

This has already been a busy year for San Francisco and the city will have even more on deck during the first week of October.   San Francisco Travel has posted details on these events and others on its website, www.sanfrancisco.travel. The San Francisco Municipal Transit Agency has also provided maps and other transit updates specifically related to these events as well.

Among the events that will greatly increase the city’s activity level are:

  • America’s Cup World Series, Oct. 2-7
  • Fleet Week, Oct. 4-8
  • Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, Oct. 5-7
  • Litquake, Oct. 5-13
  • Castro Street Fair, Oct. 7
  • San Francisco Italian Heritage Parade, Oct. 7
  • San Francisco 49ers vs. Buffalo Bills, Oct. 7

Dates for the National League Division Series with the beloved San Francisco Giants are expected to be confirmed soon as well.  

Oracle OpenWorld 2012, Sept. 30-Oct. 4, will have activities at Moscone Center and throughout the city.
