Over 4,100 agents across Australia and New Zealand have increased their Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club Cruises knowledge after completing the improved Cruising for Excellence online training tool.

All agents who achieved ‘Admiral’ status and completed the new modules were entered in a draw to win one of eight cruises for two.

The winners are:

First prize - 14-night cruise with Azamara Club Cruises

  • Melaine Banyard - Champagne Travel, Western Australia

Second prize – four one-night cruises on Celebrity Solstice

  • Jan Rattray - Jetset Brandon Park, Victoria
  • Susan Doyle - Travel & Cruise Castlemaine, Victoria
  • Matthew Chisholm - Chisholm Turner Travel Associates, New South Wales
  • Kelly Fitzgerald - Warkworth Travel,  New Zealand

Third prize – three one-night cruises on Voyager of the Seas

  • Lauren Wall - Seven Oceans Cruising, Queensland
  • Christine Cartes - Flight Centre, New South Wales
  • Elizabeth Johns - Pasadena Travel, South Australia

The brand new modules will ensure agents have up to date knowledge of the five Royal Caribbean and Celebrity ships visiting the region this season as well as an overview of the cruises the company offers overseas.

Commercial Director, Adam Armstrong believes that with the arrival of megaliner Voyager of the Seas in Australia this summer, consumer interest in cruising can only increase.

“The revamped Cruising for Excellence training tool is allowing agents to speak knowledgeably about these new ships and book even more passengers on Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Azamara Club cruises,” he said.

“With Australians cruising in record numbers, we want to continue to help our agents make as many sales as possible. We’d like to congratulate all agents who completed the training and look forward to welcoming our winners on board.”
