San Francisco East Bay’s fresh new restaurant and wine bar, Plate & Vine has opened its doors, introducing a new dining experience to local residents and visitors after undergoing three months of extensive renovations. “Out of town guests who visit us may conceivably travel a greater distance to Plate & Vine than our own menu ingredients,” said Executive Chef Dwayne Griffiths. “We are very fortunate to be located in a region where we have access to an abundance of locally grown and produced food. At Plate & Vine, we offer guests the freshest ingredients and a dining experience that celebrates this bounty.” Plate & Vine has incorporated a number of sustainable initiatives, including composting 100% of its organic food wastes, installing all LED lighting, using reclaimed woods, and buying from local producers. “When purchasing from local and organic farms, the distance food travels is reduced, which decreases the carbon footprint,” said Griffiths. “We absolutely love our local clientele and welcome them to enjoy our gorgeous outdoor patio, complimentary valet parking, and of course the delicious wood fired pizzas and fresh breads and breadsticks that we’ve always been known for,” said Restaurant Manager Geisha Paolucci. “Making dining reservations online using the OpenTable link on our website is growing in popularity, plus we have a free Wi-Fi hotspot in the restaurant for our tech savvy guests.” The wine bar at Plate & Vine features local Napa, Sonoma, and California wines on an extensive regionally exclusive wine list, in addition to hand-crafted specialty cocktails where local fruits and freshly squeezed juices create a unique beverage experience. |
