As you soar over the endless ripples of the Western desert, Egypt Air will grace you with a view over Egypt like you’ve never seen before.

As a national carrier, Egypt Air is wholly owned by the Egyptian government. The airline is based at Cairo International Airport and services over 66 international and domestic destinations throughout Europe, Africa, the Middle East, the Far East and the USA.

The airline first took off in July of 1933 as the first jet liner operator in the Middle East. While it was initially owned by the Airwork Company, the Egyptian government took over during the Second World War.

Egypt Air boasts one of the airline industry’s youngest fleets, with an average aircraft age of five and a half years. Its fleet of 39 aircraft includes the Boeing 777/200, Airbus 320/200 and Airbus 330/200 among others.

The carrier offers an extensive range of comforts for both the short and long haul traveller. Passengers have a choice of travelling on Economy, First Class or Business Class. All classes are fitted with video and portable telephone facilities.

Egypt Air is committed to its customers and aims to deliver the latest in air travel technology with an uncompromised offering of traditional Egyptian hospitality.

And for this reason, Egypt Air has been a popular choice for holidaymakers all over the world.
