There’s a reason that Cathay Pacific continues to rank as one of the premier airlines in the world, attention to detail, and a willingness to help, makes flying with this carrier one of the better flights around. With recent upgrades, all cabins now incorporate personal audio and video capabilities, with a TV in every seat, all passengers can choose from at least 26 different channels of entertainment throughout their flight. The food on offer isn’t too shabby either, and even the Economy class cabins have three selections on offer for main meals on most flights – as well as pre-ordered special meals. But for a more personalised trip, Cathay’s Business Class service is consistently noted. Passengers are greeted upon boarding by name, and given a welcome drink, before they settle into their seats. And with seats with a minimum of 60” pitch, it’s a comfortable and spacious journey to the destination. To further enhance their product, Cathay will be rolling out a new lie-flat Business Class seat on certain routes this year, so passengers can stretch out, and duck behind a partition blind.
While relaxing in their seats, Business Class also showcases some of the best Chinese cuisine on offer in China and Hong Kong, with specialised dishes from the premier restaurants in the city as some of the options on offer. And all travellers can be guaranteed that their meals are fresh, with Cathay being one of the first airlines to introduce rice-cookers, skillets and toasters on board, travellers can travel assured that freshness of food is a key quality. Part of oneworld, Cathay premium travellers have access to some of the most comfortable lounges across the globe, in partner lounges. Of course the home port of Hong Kong highlights some amazing offerings, so why not grab a freshly blended juice from the juice bar, take a quick dip in one of the shower suites, catch up with the news in the lounge, and wait for your flight in your very own Balzac armchair. |
